Seattle Bulk Rail Station, Inc., Seattle Transload and Western Cartage—three companies all located on the same property in Seattle, Washington. These three companies are partnering together to be your one-stop transloading and shipping service company.
Located less than one block from the Seattle Container Yards on the
Duwamish Waterway, there simply is no more convenient location for transloading
and shipping cargo into and out of the Pacific Northwest than ours.
Furthermore, we can handle projects of any size at any time,
with full-time dispatch. Our terminal has 10 acres of yard space with
dock access, and a staging area for containers, power units, chassis,
customer product and equipment. Western Cartage provides the support of
the largest local LTL trucking company in Seattle, with a proven track
record of success, 70 trucks and 120 trailers with super chassis, and
36,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space.
For transloading bulk product to container, our bulk command center has
emergency backup, and is fully automated using the latest technology to
guarantee precision timing and automated control inventory reporting,
with an average 8‑minute loading time per container (we
have the capability of loading two containers simultaneously).
With over 50 years experience in Transportation, and the complete
range of services—from transloading and forwarding LTL shipments
to full container drayage, documentation of all sorts, rail
access to Union Pacific and Burlington northern, servicing up
to 45 rail cars per day and boasting of the #1 intermodal
transportation company in the Pacific Northwest—our customer base
